My plan to turn professional begins by entering Qualifying School for the PGA Europro Tour in April 2013.
There will be up to 16 tournaments between April and October competing for total prize money approaching £600,000.
Each tournament costs £275 to enter. This matched with the cost of travel and accomodation is obviously very expensive.
Therefore I am looking for sponsorship to allow me to play in as many tournaments as possible, giving me the best chance of success.
Each tournament has a 2 hour TV highlights package broadcast on Sky Sports. This is a total of 32 hours of TV highlights per year.
Therefore this is a good chance to have your companies logo or name advertised on television (the better I play, the more coverage myself and your brand name/logo will recieve).
I have come up with some sponsorship packages which I hope are of interest to you. These are my ideas and can of course be discussed and changed if they do not suit any potential sponsor.
Car (£3000 per season): Logo of company on car including two 4-ball rounds of golf at Brocket Hall Golf Club with myself included in the 4-ball. My car does 20,000+ miles per year travelling around the country to various tournaments.
Clothing (price can be discussed): Logo of company or of sponsors choosing on t-shirts and jumpers.
Clothing sponsor can also choose where on the clothing they would like the logo.
Includes one 4-ball round of golf at Brocket Hall Golf Club with myself included in the 4-ball
Bag (price can be discussed): Logo of company on bag of sponsor’s choice.
Sponsor can choose design of bag and where and how big the logo can be.
Also includes a 4-ball round of golf at Brocket Hall Golf Club with myself included in the 4 ball.
